Caregiver Reports to: Administrator/RNJob

Classification: Hourly wage (nonexempt)Minimum Qualifications: C.N.A not required but preferred

General Requirements: We are seeking caregivers to provide assistance with activities of daily living that are compassionate, respectful and patient to the residents and possess a sincere desire to enhance the quality of life for the people that live here

General responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

· Provide companionship and supervise resident activities

· Must always treat clients with complete respect and cooperation-no exception· Assist with any needs of clients first

· Assist with bathing, dressing or grooming· Assist with ambulation, transfers, and light exercise

· Assist in daily care needs

· Document caregiver and communications notes

· Make beds· Serve meals

· Prepare dining room for meals and clean up dining room after meals

· Assist with washing dishes and putting away clean dishes

· Be available on weekends and holidays

· To help prepare for special events at Greenleaf such as holiday parties, birthday parties or musical events

· To be able to follow all guidelines of infection control

· Be able to take direction and corrective advice

· Assist with jobs delegated by Administrator or RN

Physical job requirements: Employee must be able to lift, push or pull at least 50 lbs without risk of injury

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

COVID-19 considerations: Staff members are provided full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to ensure their safety

Experience: caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License: driver’s license (Preferred) CPR/First Aid (Preferred)

Work authorization: United States (Preferred)
